Anti-HOMER3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homer scaffold protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 361 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the cerebellum. It is a member of the Homer protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include homer protein homolog 3, Homer, neuronal immediate early gene, 3, homer homolog 3, homer scaffolding protein 3, and VESL3. HOMER3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of HOMER3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
