Hemochromatosis type 2 (juvenile) is a reported alias of the human protein 'hemojuvelin BMP co-receptor', encoded by the gene HJV. Anti-Hemochromatosis type 2 (juvenile) antibodies are available from several suppliers. The full protein is reported to be 426 amino acid residues in length. Based on antigen name, there may be canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat variants of this protein.
