Anti-ZSCAN30 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger and SCAN domain containing 30. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 494 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZSCAN30 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ZNF397 opposite strand, zinc finger protein 397 opposite strand, zinc finger protein 397OS, and zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 30. ZSCAN30 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunoprecipitation are common applications for ZSCAN30 antibodies.
