Anti-TOGARAM2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TOG array regulator of axonemal microtubules 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1019 amino acid residues and a mass of 111.2 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Crescerin protein family, TOGARAM2 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include crescerin-2, family with sequence similarity 179 member A, protein FAM179A, and TOG array regulator of axonemal microtubules protein 2. TOGARAM2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for TOGARAM2 antibodies.
