Anti-SSC4D antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein scavenger receptor cysteine rich family member with 4 domains. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 575 amino acid residues and a mass of 60.8 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include four scavenger receptor cysteine-rich domains-containing protein, scavenger receptor cysteine rich domain containing, group B (4 domains), and scavenger receptor cysteine-rich domain-containing group B protein. SSC4D gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the SSC4D antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
