Anti-OVCA2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein OVCA2 serine hydrolase domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 227 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.4 kDa. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the LovG protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include candidate tumor suppressor in ovarian cancer 2, ovarian cancer gene-2 protein, ovarian cancer-associated gene 2 protein, ovarian tumor suppressor candidate 2, and esterase OVCA2. OVCA2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some OVCA2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
