Anti-ATP23 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ATP23 metallopeptidase and ATP synthase assembly factor homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 246 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.1 kDa. It is a member of the Peptidase M76 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include Ku70-binding protein 3, XRCC6-binding protein 1, and mitochondrial inner membrane protease ATP23 homolog. ATP23 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
