Anti-ACOXL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein acyl-CoA oxidase like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 547 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.8 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Acyl-CoA oxidase protein family, ACOXL is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids. Synonyms for this target antigen include acyl-coenzyme A oxidase-like protein, acyl-CoA oxidase-like protein, and ACOX4. ACOXL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some ACOXL antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
