Anti-SYS1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SYS1 golgi trafficking protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 156 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the SYS1 protein family, SYS1 is known to be involved in protein trafficking. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein SYS1 homolog and SYS1 Golgi-localized integral membrane protein homolog. SYS1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SYS1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
