Anti-C2CD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein C2 calcium dependent domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 696 amino acid residues and a mass of 75.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include C21orf258, TMEM24L, C2 domain-containing protein 2, TMEM24 related geme, transmembrane protein 24-like, and C21orf25. C2CD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the C2CD2 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
