Anti-RBBP6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RB binding protein 6, ubiquitin ligase. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1792 amino acid residues and a mass of 201.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the placenta and testis. RBBP6 is known to be involved with DNA damage pathways and DNA replication. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include P2P-R, PACT, RBQ-1, SNAMA, E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RBBP6, and MY038. RBBP6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RBBP6 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
