Anti-LRATD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LRAT domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 292 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the LRATD protein family, LRATD1 is believed to play a role in cell morphology and motility. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 84 member A, neurologic sensory protein 1, neurological/sensory 1, protein FAM84A, and protein LRATD1. LRATD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
