Anti-GOLPH3L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein golgi phosphoprotein 3 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 285 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the GOLPH3/VPS74 protein family, GOLPH3L is reported to be a phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate-binding protein that may antagonize the action of GOLPH3 which is required for the process of vesicle budding at the Golgi and anterograde transport to the plasma membrane. Synonyms for this target antigen include GPP34R and GPP34-related protein. GOLPH3L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the GOLPH3L antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
