Anti-DENND1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DENN domain containing 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 775 amino acid residues and a mass of 86.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in dendritic and natural killer cells and at lower levels in other myeloid lineage cells and in pituitary. DENND1B is known to be involved with endocytosis and protein transport. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. The DENND1B gene has been associated with the disease, Asthma. Synonyms for this target antigen include DENN/MADD domain containing 1B, connecdenn 2, family with sequence similarity 31, member B, and DENN domain-containing protein 1B. DENND1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DENND1B antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
