Anti-YTHDF1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein YTH N6-methyladenosine RNA binding protein F1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 559 amino acid residues and a mass of 60.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the YTHDF protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include DF1, YTH domain-containing family protein 1, DACA-1, YTH N(6)-methyladenosine RNA binding protein 1, YTH N6-methyladenosine RNA binding protein 1, and C20orf21. YTHDF1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Over 140 citations in the literature describe the use of YTHDF1 antibodies in research. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
