Anti-IGLL5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein immunoglobulin lambda like polypeptide 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 214 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.1 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. The IGLL5 marker can be used to identify Transitional B Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include anti HBs antibody light-chain Fab fragment, germline immunoglobulin lambda 1, immunoglobin anti-granzymeB light chain variable region, immunoglobulin lambda 1 light chain, and G lambda-1. IGLL5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. ELISA is a widely used application for the IGLL5 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
