Anti-OR1A1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 1 subfamily A member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 309 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR1A1 is known to be involved with signal transduction pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 1A1, olfactory receptor 17-7, olfactory receptor OR17-11, and OR17-7. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR1A1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
