Anti-FAM222A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 222 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 452 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.8 kDa. It is a member of the FAM222 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM222A and aggregatin. FAM222A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FAM222A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
