Anti-OR52A5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 52 subfamily A member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 316 amino acid residues and a mass of 36 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR52A5 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include odorant receptor HOR3'beta5, olfactory receptor OR11-33, and olfactory receptor 52A5. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR52A5 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
