Anti-DLGAP4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DLG associated protein 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 992 amino acid residues and a mass of 108 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the SAPAP protein family, DLGAP4 is believed to play a role in the molecular organization of synapses and neuronal cell signaling. Synonyms for this target antigen include DAP4, SAPAP-4, SAPAP4, disks large-associated protein 4, and DAP-4. DLGAP4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DLGAP4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
