The gene may also be known as BOPS, MDS, putative Polycomb group protein ASXL1, and additional sex combs like 1, transcriptional regulator. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 165.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
