Anti-GADD45G antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein growth arrest and DNA damage inducible gamma. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 159 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.1 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. A member of the GADD45 protein family, GADD45G is reported to be involved in regulation of growth and apoptosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include DDIT2, GADD45gamma, GRP17, growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD45 gamma, DDIT-2, and CR6. GADD45G gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of GADD45G antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
