Anti-TCEAL8 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transcription elongation factor A like 8. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 117 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the TFS-II protein family, TCEAL8 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include TCEA-like protein 8, transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like 8, transcription elongation factor S-II protein-like 8, and transcription elongation factor A protein-like 8. TCEAL8 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the TCEAL8 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
