Anti-GASK1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein golgi associated kinase 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 519 amino acid residues and a mass of 57.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the GASK protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include AD036, C4orf18, ENED, FAM198B, expressed in nerve and epithelium during development, and AD021. GASK1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
