Anti-MARCHF7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein membrane associated ring-CH-type finger 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 704 amino acid residues and a mass of 78.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. MARCHF7 is known to be involved with DNA damage pathways and the regulation of apoptosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCH7, RING finger protein 177, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase MARCH7, RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase MARCHF7, and E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCHF7. MARCHF7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
