Anti-SLC4A10 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 4 member 10. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1118 amino acid residues and a mass of 125.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the the brain. A member of the Anion exchanger (TC 2.A.31) protein family, SLC4A10 is reported to be a sodium/bicarbonate cotransporter, which plays an important role in regulating intracellular pH. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include solute carrier family 4, sodium bicarbonate cotransporter-like, member 10, solute carrier family 4, sodium bicarbonate transporter, member 10, and sodium-driven chloride bicarbonate exchanger. SLC4A10 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for SLC4A10 antibodies.
