Anti-OR51B5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily B member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR51B5 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Synonyms for this target antigen include odorant receptor HOR5'beta5, olfactory receptor OR11-37, and olfactory receptor 51B5. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR51B5 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
