Anti-IGFL2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein IGF like family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 119 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.2 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in cerebellum, heart, placenta, spleen, stomach, testis and thymus. A member of the IGFL protein family, IGFL2 is reported to be a potential ligand of the IGFLR1 cell membrane receptor. Synonyms for this target antigen include insulin growth factor-like family member 2. Western Blot is a widely used application for the IGFL2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
