Anti-NIBAN3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein niban apoptosis regulator 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 697 amino acid residues and a mass of 77.4 kDa. Up to 7 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in B-lymphocytes. It is a member of the Niban protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include B-cell novel protein 1, family with sequence similarity 129 member C, niban-like protein 2, and protein Niban 3. NIBAN3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
