Anti-PSME3IP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein proteasome activator subunit 3 interacting protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 254 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. PSME3IP1 is reported to promote the association of the proteasome activator complex subunit PSME3 with the 20S proteasome and regulates its activity. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include NEFA-interacting nuclear protein NIP30, PA28G interacting protein 30kDa, PA28G-interacting protein, PSME3 interacting protein 30kDa, and PSME3-interacting protein. PSME3IP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
