Anti-PVRIG antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein PVR related immunoglobulin domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 326 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in some types of immune cells. PVRIG is a reported cell surface receptor for NECTIN2. Synonyms for this target antigen include CD112 receptor, nectin-2 receptor, poliovirus receptor related immunoglobulin domain containing, poliovirus receptor-related immunoglobulin domain-containing protein, and transmembrane protein PVRIG. PVRIG gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
