Anti-golgin A8 family member O antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the GOLGA8O gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 632 amino acid residues and a mass of 71.5 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. A member of the GOLGA6 protein family, it is known to be involved with Golgi organization. Other names for this target antigen include golgin subfamily A member 8O and Golgin subfamily A member 6-like protein 11.
