Anti-RAB11FIP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB11 family interacting protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1283 amino acid residues and a mass of 137.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. RAB11FIP1 is known to be involved with protein transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include RAB11 family interacting protein 1 (class I), Rab effector protein, Rab-interacting recycling protein, and RAB11 coupling protein. RAB11FIP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of Rab11FIP1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
