Anti-Mmip2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Mmip2 is a known alias name of the protein ring finger protein 17, encoded by the RNF17 gene in humans. This 1623-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in regulation of transcriptional activity of MYC. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have testis-specific expression.
