TNF Receptor Antibodies

The tumor necrosis factor, or TNF, receptor superfamily (TNFRSF) is a class of cytokine receptors characterized by cysteine-rich domains. They are directly involved in cell signaling for apoptosis, as well as inflammation, proliferation, survival and differentiation. Most TNF receptors are membrane bound and, upon activation by respective TNF ligands, recruit intracellular adaptor proteins to fulfill signal transduction pathways. For instance, FAS ligand binds to the FAS receptor, which then recruits death domain protein FADD to activate the apoptotic caspase cascade. There are a myriad of antibodies to the 27 members of the TNFR family. To help narrow down your search, enter a desired target and select the appropriate filters.
