Anti-Jumonji domain containing 1C antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene JMJD1C in humans. The gene may also be known as KDM3C, TRIP-8, TRIP8, probable JmjC domain-containing histone demethylation protein 2C, and TR-interacting protein 8. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 284.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
