Product Name:

Influenza A H1N1 Antibody - (A/California/14/2009)

Catalog Number:

NBP1-30320

Clone Number:

The cell line was infected with mock or test viral particles (10 moi) and after 36 hours of incubation in complete media the cell extracts were prepared, proteins were resolved in SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with Influenza A H1N1 Antibody - (A/California/14/2009) antibody. The antibody was purchased from Novas Biological by its merit mentioned in the antibody flyer and referral from published articles and reviews.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western blot

Sample

Total extract from virus infected and non-infected cells

Primary Incubation

1:1000 in BSA (5%), overnight at 4 degrees celsius

Blocking Agent

BSA (5%), 2h at RT

Secondary Incubation

Goat-anti rabbit IgG-HRP (1:4000), 2h at RT

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

ECL

Results Summary

The antibody showed high specificity to HA, NA and M/NP as the bands for these viral protein markers were detected at the expected molecular mass. However, antibodies little bit cross reacted with other non-specific proteins. There was a change in the levels of these proteins in the mock and test virus infected group.
