I'm usually hesitant to order uncoated ELISA kits because of the presumed inconvenience and variability from lot to lot but I had to because the coated version was backordered. However, this worked out much better than I thought. It does require more samples than what I've seen usually asked for (100 uL versus 50 uL) but is otherwise a kit I'd suggest to ELISA users.

Summary

The Good

Straightforward and clear instructions.

The Bad

Uncoated, washing steps are a bit tedious (5X).

The Bottom Line

ELISA kit was as simple as most kits go. There weren't any confusing instructions and I had no issues using it for the first time. I'd generally recommend the coated ELISA kits but this will also work just fine.
