I used the RayBio Mouse IL-1 beta Mouse ELISA Kit (for Lysates) in kidney tissues lysate collected our mouse model of Diabetic Kidney disease with Uninephrectomy (DB/DB-UNX). From our data, I found increased inflammation together with NLRP3 signalling in kidney of our mouse model of kidney disease. Therefore, I am interested to measure the IL-1b and I used the Mouse IL-1 beta kit from RayBiotech supplied by Biocompare. In results, I found there significant increased IL1-beta levels in kidney of DB/DB-UNX model compared to Non Diabetic controls DB/M mice. I confirmed that the Kit working great and i recommend this product.

Summary

The Good

We tested in our mouse model of kidney disease where we knew that these mice developed inflammation together with NLRP3 signalling. Therefore I tested the kit and Kit working great, prompt in Kidney Tissue Lysates.

The Bad

I am not sure this kit is suitable for Frozen tissue

The Bottom Line

I strongly recommend the IL-1 beta Kit suitable for Tissue Lysates.
