B lineage cells play a major role in pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases through presentation of antigen to T cells, production of autoantibodies and inflammatory cytokines that modulate immune responses. We are interested in elucidating the biology of B lineage cells during autoimmunity. In this experiment, I wanted to titrate CD267 (TACI) that is expressed by differentiated B cells, i.e., plasma cells.

I could stain CD267 cells in the spleen using the antibody at 1/100. The histograms presented are gated on live CD138hi cells.

It can be used. It is a good option to use as animal-free antibody, since it is a recombinant clone.
