Human cells were deleted for MAPK using its on-target siRNA and tested for its effect on growth factor-induced beta actin protein levels. MAPK depleted cells were growth-arrested and treated with specific growth factor at a particular time. The protein extracts were prepared after cell lysis, and the whole-cell protein extract was resolved and immunoblotted for beta actin levels using its specific antibody. Beta actin antibody was obtained from RayBiotech, and its selection was based on merit indicated in antibody flyer.
