Mouse subjected to a specific treatment was sacrificed, tissues were isolated, and prepared protein extracts were examined to test the effect of the particular treatment on p-p38 protein levels. For this extracted tissue proteins which were resolved in 10%, SDS-PAGE was immunoblotted with Novus Biologicals p-p38 Ab. Enhanced chemiluminescent detection in X-Ray film
The antibody has detected only a specific band of p38 protein at 38 kDa (compared with duel range protein marker). However, specific treatment significantly affected p-p38 levels.
