I was screening a few different cell lines for Glycophorin A expression, using this antibody and one other from a different company. This antibody gave me wildly erroneous results both times I tried it, disagreeing with the literature as well as the other antibody. It binds nonspecifically to non-Glycophorin A.

Flow cytometer (Novocyte)
The (not-preconjugated so I used an anti-mouse Fc secondary to detect) clone from Bioexell detected wonderfully, with the results of K562/TF-1s expressing Glycophorin A matching that of the literature. Erroneously, the Biolegend Glycophorin A clone showed that Daudis (which were included to be my negative control) have the most, which is just incorrect.
