We wanted to study T cell proliferation ex vivo, so we used the reagent to label the cells to be able to trace number of generations following stimulation.

Cell labeling concentration may take a bit of optimization. See manufacturer's recoommendation.
Labeling the T cells and stimulating with anti-CD3 led to very clearly defined proliferative generations by flow cytometry.
