I work on selective forms of autophagy, especially focusing on ribophagy and ER-phagy. I have used large numbers of antibodies for proteins related to autophagy. This GFP antibody was not great, yet it was better than the Roche mouse anti-GFP antibody.
Western Blot
HCT116 cells over-expressing GFP-LC3B
1:1000 dilution in 5% BSA, TBST
5% non-fat milk in TBST
1:20000 Licor IRDye700 (mouse)
Wash with TBST, 3 times
Odyssey Clx
This antibody was purchased because the Roche GFP antibody did not work well. There were lots of non-specific bands, but I could still detect my protein of interest.
