The human primary cell line was exposed to a growth factor and tested for its effect on PLC beta 3 protein expression. For this, whole-cell protein lysate from control and growth factor treated cells were resolved in 8% SDS-PAGE, western transferred and probed with PC beta 3 antibodies obtained from Abcam. The selection of antibody was based specificity of antibody and protein band shown in antibody flyer.

Enhanced chemiluminescent detection in X-Ray films
PLC beta 3 antibodies have detected only a specific band of PLC beta 3 protein at nearly 140 kDa molecular weight (Compared with high range protein marker). However, there a nonspecific protein band at low molecular weight was also observed.
