Santa Cruz Biotechnology

Product Name:

arginase I Antibody (E-2)

Catalog Number:

sc-271430

Clone Number:

E-2

Primary murine microglia cells were incubated in the absence or presence of LPA (1 μM) for 24 and 48 h. Cells were stained for specific inflammatory markers (in this case with Arg1) and nuclei were counter stained with Hoechst. The fluorescence intensity was quantitated using ImageJ.

Summary

The Good

Easy to use, reproducible results, very good price

The Bad

Doesn't work well in WB.

The Bottom Line

Good antibody for the detection of Arg1 (in ICC worked perfectly, however it didn't work well in WB).
