Product Name:

H1029 Monoclonal Anti-polyHistidine antibody

Catalog Number:

H1029

The anti-polyhistidine antibody was used to detect a his-tag fused sumo tag in a sample of purified sumo-tagged amyloid beta 1-42. The antibody has great detection.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Purified sumo-tagged amyloid beta 1-42

Primary Incubation

H1029 Monoclonal Anti-polyHistidine antibody

Blocking Agent

4% bsa in TBST

Secondary Incubation

Anti-mouse antibody

Detection

Lumi Imager F1

Results Summary

The antibody was used to determine whether a purification protocol for a sumo-his tagged amyloid beta 42 had been able to isolate the final purified abeta42 product without the sumo-his tag. The western blot we performed showed that we were not able to fully isolate the amyloid beta from its tag even though we had managed to cleave the tag from the amyloid beta.
