ChIP DNA Clean & Concentrator Kits

Catalog Number:

D5205 and D5201

My project focuses on the analysis of chromatin accessibility of HIV-infected primary CD4 T cells. We used a very recently developed method called ATAC-SEQ to approach this analysis. We used this kit to purify and cleanup the DNA sample after Tn5 transposase tagmentation.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

DNA purification

Starting Material

Sample from enzymatic reaction

Protocol Overview

The kit was very easy to use: 1. mix DNA with DNA binding buffer 2. centrifuge 3. wash twice 4. elution

Tips

1. make sure you add 24ml of the 100% ethanol before use 2. the speed is by "g" not"rpm"

Results Summary

I used this for ATAC-SEQ protocol, the purity and quality were very good.I have used both D5205 and D5201 in my hands. the only difference is one capped and the other does not. the capped one can avoid possible contamination but each step takes more time to open and close the cap. I attached several pictures.
