We do a lot of NK cell staining. We wanted to find a CD56 antibody that gave us good resolution of CD56(bright) compared to CD56(dim) and these compared to CD56(negative). We chose this product as an alternative to the 'standard' fluorochromes and because APC-R700 is supposed to be a bright fluorochrome.

The results show reasonable resolution of NK cells (in purple) from other lymphocytes. However, it was difficult to "see" the CD56(bright) cells, and there was a spread of the fluorescence seen on other cells, especially monocytes (in green).

Expensive. Resolution not great.
An OK alternative, but other options are better (e.g. PE - see my other review).
